FotoFacial – skin rejuvenation is an acne treatment that uses intense pulsed light to recharge your skin. FotoFacial light causes your body to produce new collagen that your skin uses to heal and smooth itself, eliminating existing acne while also working as an acne scar treatment. The best thing about FotoFacial treatments is that they treat acne just as well as antibiotics, but with few side effects. Lasers have been proven to successfully eliminate acne scars and new research shows that lasers can help prevent new acne as well. As an acne treatment, lasers cauterize the glands that produce oil and induce the formation of oxygen, which kills acne bacteria.  Along with the right chemical peel, our patients start seeing results immediately. Chemical Peels – This treatment can smooth skin, reduce oil, and lower the number of cystic acne nodules. A glycolic acid or alpha-hydroxy peel, which is a very light chemical peel, is derived from fruits and plants and stimulates new cell growth while allowing dead cells to exfoliate naturally.  A Designer Peel is stronger and there will be some down time, however the end result will be a clearer complexion. Microdermabrasion – The benefit of this treatment is the exfoliation of the skin which unblocks clogged pores and sheds the dead skin cells. Combining with FotoFacials will maximize your treatment benefits.  Also very beneficial before extractions. (see Facials for more information)

Extractions – Our Medical Aesthetician will gently extract blackheads, whiteheads and milia. We treat the face, neck, décolleté and back.  Please do not try this at home, as it may cause scarring if not done professionally. (see Facials for more information)

Specialized Facial for Acne Prone Skin
Having to deal with a poor complexion, may also include painful acne.  De-stress with this facial!  Treatment begins with cleansing followed by mild exfoliation.  Then you will relax under our steamer for a few minutes. Our Medical Aesthetician will gently extract blackheads, whiteheads and milia. Then our Medical Aesthetician will evaluate skin to decide whether to use salicylic or glycolic gentle mud mask to purify your complexion. 

*Add your neck and/or décolleté to any facial for an additional charge.  Make sure you let us know in advance – We’ll need an extra 15 minutes more for each area.
